April 01, 2008 - We were honored to play host to the top students, from the Alaqsite'w Gitpu School in Listuguj, from grades 5, 6, 7, & 8. These students are part of a motivation group that goes on field trips every week or two.

This time they had requested to visit GMRC and we couldn't have been happier to have them in. Victoria Metallic, GMRC's Environmental Technologist, put on a mini workshop to raise awareness about environmental issues and how we are all connected to our environment in some way.

The students were also able to learn some tips on what actions they could take to reduce their negative impact on the Earth, as well as how they can promote a greener living.
