March 10, 2008- The Gespe'gewaq Mi'gmaq Resource Council is pleased to have the American Eel/Ga't report available to the public. The research was conducted in the Fall of 2007 in the three communities of Listuguj, Eel River Bar, and Pabineau. The report focuses on the First Nations perspective on the Eel populations in Gespe'gewa'gi and has also been translated into the Mi'gmaq language. A pdf viewer is required to read the report.
