

May 07, 2008- We are pleased to announce that Victoria Metallic, GMRC's Environmental Technologist, has been invited to give a presentation at the 2nd Annual International Comprehensive Community Planning Conference titled "Community Journeys - Pathways To A Sustainable Future". The purpose of the conference is to share ideas, experiences, and understandings. The conference will be held in Charlottetown, P.E.I. from September 15-17, 2008.
Since September of 2007, Ms. Metallic has been undergoing Comprehensive Community Planning training in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The community planning training is being provided by the Center for Indigenous Environmental Resources (CIER) organization and is scheduled to last 18 months.
